Standbouw Prins Design joins the vinyl take-back program

Sustainable entrepreneurship is high on the list of priorities at JMT Floorcoverings: after the introduction of the unique and completely latex-free Rewind® event carpet, the vinyl take-back program soon followed in collaboration with our pilot partner Boozed – Experience Creators in Delft.

The enthusiastic start of the program is a fact, as is the first positive feedback. That is why Standbouw Prins Design Culemborg has now also started the vinyl take-back program.

A second life for vinyl

The take-back program of JMT Floorcoverings, in collaboration with Unilin Recover, is aimed at giving vinyl a second life after use by recycling it into reusable raw material. Both vinyl with and without textile backing can be recycled, provided that it is completely free of glue and is strictly separated in big bags. These are supplied by JMT Floorcoverings.

These big bags are equipped with a waterproof plastic lining and an extended apron that ensures that the full bag can be closed watertight. The big bag holders can also be supplied with ratchet heads by JMT Floorcoverings: 1 copy will be loaned at the start of the participation.

Commitment to sustainable design

After using vinyl on the exhibition stands, Standbouw Prins Design collects the vinyl in the big bags. When the load is completely ready, JMT Floorcoverings collects the full big bags and takes care of the further transport.

The full big bags are then recycled per full trailer load by Unilin Recover. A wonderful collaboration throughout the entire chain. Together, we are committed to sustainable design!
